These Terms govern access to the Shohood application, website and related services (“Service”). References to “Shohood”, “we” or “us” mean the operator of the Service. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. The Privacy Policy describes our handling of personal information, and the Purchase Terms apply to paid features.
Eligibility and Accounts
The Service is available to individuals aged 13 or older. A person who is a minor under applicable law must have the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian. You must provide accurate account information, use a telephone number you are authorised to use and keep your access credentials confidential. You must not impersonate another person or transfer access to your account.
You are responsible for activity you authorise through your account and should notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access. Shohood may require verification before granting access, restoring an account or responding to a request affecting personal information.
Permitted Use
Shohood provides personality-related assessments and personal reflection features. Access is granted for your personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms and the features available within your account. Results are informational and do not constitute medical advice, a psychological diagnosis, professional certification or an official assessment.
You must not use the Service for unlawful activity, harassment, impersonation, unsolicited bulk communications or interference with another person's rights. You must not attempt to bypass access or purchase restrictions, compromise the Service, extract protected content at scale, or identify an individual participant's responses. Results must not be used to make employment, credit, legal or medical decisions about another person.
Invitations and Participation
You may invite people you know where you have a legitimate basis to contact them. You are responsible for the accuracy of the details you submit and for respecting a recipient's decision not to participate. Do not pressure a recipient to respond or resubmit invitations after a request to stop.
Participation is voluntary. Individual responses are not disclosed to the account holder; participant feedback is presented in aggregate after at least five participants complete their responses. Purchasing access does not guarantee that invited people will respond or that a particular result will be produced. Invitation credits and available replacement options are governed by the Purchase Terms.
Purchases
Paid features are optional and purchased through the App Store. The product description and confirmation screen identify the purchase and applicable price. Current products are one-time purchases, not automatically renewing subscriptions. Apple processes payment and refund requests under its applicable terms. Nothing in these Terms excludes mandatory consumer rights.
Content and Intellectual Property
The Service, its branding, assessment content, presentation and software are owned by or licensed to Shohood. You receive a limited, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to use them as provided through the Service. This right does not permit resale, republication, unauthorised copying or use to create a competing service.
You retain any rights you have in content you submit. You authorise Shohood to process that content as necessary to provide and protect the Service, consistent with the Privacy Policy. This permission does not authorise sale of your personal information.
Availability and Changes
The Service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, security measures or disruption affecting external providers. We may update its content or functionality, subject to existing purchase obligations and applicable law. No particular interpretation, outcome or uninterrupted availability is guaranteed.
We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to address misuse, security threats, a material breach of these Terms or a legal requirement. Where practicable, we will provide notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue. You may stop using the Service at any time and request account deletion.
Responsibility and Disputes
You should consider results in context and exercise your own judgement. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Shohood is not responsible for indirect losses caused by misuse of the Service or reliance on its results for purposes for which they are not intended. No provision excludes liability or limits a remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Saudi Arabia. Please contact us first so that we can seek to resolve a concern. Unresolved disputes may be referred to the competent authorities or courts in accordance with applicable law. This does not restrict your right to submit a complaint or exercise a statutory remedy.
Updates and Contact
We may revise these Terms and will publish the updated effective date. Material changes will be notified where required, and further acceptance will be requested when necessary. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
